Our writing camps are designed for women, trans, and non-binary musicians, songwriters, producers, and artists, and we welcome people without professional credits.

We ask that you have at least 1 year of writing or production experience for the Mini Writing Camp and at least 5 years for the Weekend Writing Camps.

Mini camps are a speedy 5-hour session at Kinsome with 4-5 artists, songwriters, and producers. Come with an idea, a voice memo, or nothing at all, and leave with a track underway.

Over the course of the day, you’ll:

• Get settled - meet the group, get comfortable in the space

• Write together - build a track from beginning to end

• Wrap and share - leave with a rough demo and some new collaborators

Weekend camps are a full weekend to write, record, and produce a track with other women, trans, and nonbinary artists.

Friday evening
We kick things off with an informal hang. Meet your cowriters, hear each other’s work, get a feel for the studio, and start talking ideas.

Saturday & Sunday
10:30am–6:30pm
Write and produce new songs in community. Get out of your comfort zone, make new connections, and leave with finished demos.
